Magotteaux has the largest range of tire solutions for vertical mill casting on the market. They are available either segmented or as a monobloc. The tires or rollers are submitted to significant wear generated by the grinding and rolling actions. To cope with this wear Magotteaux offers tires in a large range of alloys either with or without ceramic grains (Metal Matrix Composite). These include XCC®, Xwin®, neoX® in both segmented and monobloc form. We have also developed Duocast® High Performance (HP) technology. This is used in particular for monobloc tires grinding slag or clinker. This helps maintain the tire wear profile thus preventing output drops and thereby reducing energy consumption. This represents a good return on investment.
