Specific alloys are available for every area inside the clinker cooler. There is also a patented bar and clinker pocket grate. These are specially designed to fit on to the existing supports without needing to make any change to the fans or to the structure itself and give a better control of the dust emissions and wear resistance. There can also be an optional service which could include a specialised supervisor to install the grates and to ensure the parts are perfectly aligned with each other.
